Home Cell Groups

The small group ministry represents the heart and soul of Metro Church of Allen.  Our church is not an organization full of programs but a living, breathing organism made of small groups we call cells.  We enthusiastically encourage you to get involved in a cell that best meets your needs.  These groups meet on different nights of the week so you may choose one that accommodates your schedule.

Build Relationships With Jesus Christ and Each Other

God's priority for our lives is relationships - with Himself and with others.  When we develop meaningful relationships with other believers and live in intimacy with God we are fulfilling the primary purpose of our being.

Reach-Out To Our Community

The cell groups serve as doors of entry whereby we can penetrate our neighborhoods with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  There are people who will attend a meeting in the home of a friend or relative before they will attend a church worship service on Sunday morning.  Some cell groups will be specifically designed to reach the unchurched segment of our community.

Apply Biblical Truth

So often in Bible studies we learn head knowledge without heart knowledge.  If we do not learn to put the Bible into practice then our study is of little value.

Develop Leaders And New Cell Groups

Healthy living cells regularly reproduce themselves.  But in order to birth out new cell groups we must have people who have learned to exercise their God-given spiritual gifts.  Our purpose is to equip and empower the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry.
